Hey ! That's me. I am currently studying in a Bachelor of Engineering Program in Computer Engineering at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. I'm in the Senior year (Year 4) right now. 😎
A little bit of my learning story.
31 July 2024, I fnished my System Analyst Internship at one tech company in Bangkok. At that time I was thinking to myself, Is this the path that really suits me ? Neither to mean that the role was too hard, nor the environment at the internship was bad. I was just there, alone, thinking to myself.
I was alwasy a "dreamer", since when I was a kid. I used to dream of many things. I just wish myself to be happy, In any time, any dimension. But I was always suffered being a dreamer.
I don't have any achievements done. I don't have any "expertise" skill. I can't make money during studying like others.
Actually, I was always trying to be better than a dreamer. To leave my dreamer's life cycle.
After the internship done, I came back to my university studying life.
I remembered there was one day that I was just reading an article about something I couldn't remember in pantip.com, but there was one of the comments that said:
"Now I'm 50 already, but I'm still trying to learn new things everyday. I keep motivating myself, preventing my brain from old-ness"
It should be something like that. It's not 100% correct. But hey, you get the point.
I don't know why but, it really catches me in that moment.
I did more research about the facts about learning, that was when I found this legendary quote from Mr. Henry Ford, the founder of Ford Motor Company.
"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80." - Henry Ford
This is one of the mental sets of the entrepreneur who found Ford.
It just shook my mind. And it just fits me in any particular gap of my life.
I don't have any achievements done. Because I was never seriously enough doing something. I don't have any "expertise" skill. Because I was never seriously enough learning something. I can't make money during studying like others. Because I wasn't good enough to take any opportunities when it comes.
That moment, I know myself well.
This time, from now on.
I'm a learner.
